Umrah and Hajj departures from Mohammed V airport (CMN)
Leaving from Casablanca: Mohammed V airport, from your front door to the gate
Why does this site exist?
The network's national sites cover the journey in general. None of them goes into the airport most pilgrims from Casablanca-Settat fly from: that is this site's only job. It holds facts no other page in the network brings together:
- Terminal 1, inaugurated on 22 January 2019 with a capacity of about 7 million passengers a year1;
- Terminal 3, fully adapted for Hajj flights for Hajj 20263;
- the airport railway station, which ONDA (Morocco's airports authority) places off the arrivals hall5;
- the Aérobus to Casa-Port, at a flat fare of 50 dirhams according to ONDA's website (undated page)6;
- the airport train during Ramadan 1447, at 1 train per hour7;
- Morocco's legal time, back on GMT for good since 20 September 2026: there is no Ramadan clock change any more, so the time printed on a ticket is Casablanca time all year9.
What do the sources say about Mohammed V airport?
This table collects what we could verify about departures from Casablanca. Always look at the date: an old statement does not confirm anything about your own flight.
Who is this guide for?
Pilgrims flying out of Casablanca, and the people who organise the trip for them: Moroccans abroad flying home to leave with their parents, foreign-born spouses meeting the family at CMN, and adult children planning the day for an older mother or father.
If Mohammed V is not your usual airport, start with the terminals, then the way in. Each page gives the answer first and the detail after.

What will you not find here?
No bookings, no offers and no package prices: this site is not a sales desk and has no counter to visit.
No religious rulings either. We describe the practical side of the journey; for questions about the rites, ask an imam or a scholar you trust.
Not confirmed yet
- Which terminal currently handles flights to Saudi Arabia: we found no recent source that confirms it.
- Whether the Makkah Route will run at Casablanca next Hajj season: nothing has been announced yet.
- The airport train schedule for next Ramadan: ONCF has not published it yet.
- Whether family members can enter the Hajj terminal to see pilgrims off: no source we found says.
